You've heard the news—and we know this is a moment of anxiety and uncertainty for many of you.

With Practice.do shutting down its operations with immediate effect, coaches on the Practice.do platform are being asked to migrate their clients, appointments, forms, files, workflows and more to a new home.

We understand how unsettling it is to shift platforms when your whole business depends on it—your client relationships, your payments, your scheduling, your content… all of it is vital to help you operate your coaching business. We also know how critical it is to keep your business running seamlessly for your clients, so that business continuity remains intact and your client experience stays smooth and professional. We want to help you through this transition with as little disruption, headache and risk as possible.

Here’s how we'll support you:

  • If you sign up for our Aha! Annual plan, we will provide free migration white glove support from your Practice.do account into CoachVantage. We’ll help you import your clients, appointments, forms, files, invoices, programs—getting you up and running faster and with fewer loose ends. Do note: while every effort will be made to migrate your data over seamlessly, we will need to assess the data that you have exported from Practice.do and evaluate what can and cannot be migrated over to the CoachVantage platform.

  • If you choose another CoachVantage plan other than the Aha! Annual plan (i.e. the Clarity Plan or the Aha! Monthly plan), we can still assist with migration at a nominal one-time fee (to cover the labour of data mapping, import and verifying that everything works as expected). 

  • For coaching teams on Practice.do’s Teams plan, we don’t yet have a fully published 'Team Plan' in CoachVantage, but we do want to work with you as early adopters. If you’re migrating now, we’ll partner with you to build and configure a coacing team plan. When you join us as an early adopter, you’ll receive special discounted pricing for being among our first cohort of coachign teams.

  • Our dedicated migration team will work with you one-on-one to minimize downtime, reduce friction, and ensure that your branded client portal and booking flows are up and running in the shortest possible time. This is your business and we understand how crucial it is to continue to have a system to help you operate.

Important note: While CoachVantage supports many of the features you’re used to in Practice.do as a solo coach, if you have a larger “team” setup (many coaches under one roof, role-based permissions, assignments across coaches, team dashboards), this is an area we’re actively focusing on.

What this means for you right now

Because Practice.do is shutting down its operations, here are some practical steps for you to take so we can help you transition quickly:

  1. Export your data from Practice.do before the shutdown: Client records, upcoming appointments, forms, files, payment history, program enrollments.

  2. Choose your migration path: If you sign up for CoachVantage’s Aha Annual plan, you’ll receive free migration support (we’ll guide you step by step). If you sign up for a different plan, we’ll support you at a nominal one-time fee.

  3. Map your workflows: Look at the automations, booking pages, landing pages, client portal links you had in Practice.do and we’ll help you replicate or improve them in CoachVantage.

  4. Communicate with your clients: Let them know about the platform change (do note that with CoachVantage, your client portal can be branded in your business colors and logo can so it feels like your environment).

  5. Test your new setup before going live: Make sure bookings, payments, client logins, forms all work. We’ll help ensure minimal downtime and smooth transition.

  6. For teams: If you were using Practice.do’s Team plan — we’ll discuss how you can join as an early-adopter with discounted pricing, and collaborate with you to define the team features you need (permissions, assignments, shared resources, performance tracking).
