Do bear in mind that I am not going to unpack the full features of YouTube Studio as I am not a YouTube expert (yet. *smiles*), however, I will provide some guidelines that will best optimize your coaching channel, along with a few content ideas.





According to Google, YouTube Studio is the place where you can manage your presence, grow your channel, interact with your audience, and make money all in one place. 

You’ll be able to upload and edit videos, manage live streams, view analytics about who has watched your videos, read and responded to comments, and of course, manage your settings.

To upload your video content, you simply click on the “+create” action button. 



You have your YouTube channel up and running. Your cover image is ready and your channel trailer is ready. You even have a week’s worth of content. 

So, you login into your YouTube studio, upload your video, only to be prompted that it got removed! 

What, why??

One reason could be that your content is unrelated to the keyword/s.

In brief, the content that you upload on YouTube works on metadata. 

According to, metadata gives viewers information about your video, which includes your video’s title, description, tags, category, thumbnail, subtitles, and closed captions. 

Providing the right information in your video’s metadata ensures that it is properly indexed by YouTube and appears when people are searching for videos like yours. 

Below are some pointers for you to optimize your videos. 



Title: Before you come out with a title, do a quick keyword search to have a rough idea of what your target audience is looking for. A relevant title based on keyword research is key for how to find coaching clients on YouTube. 

This is because your video needs to be found!

These are the general guidelines of when you should drop your YouTube video:

Monday to Wednesday: 2 - 4 PM EST

Thursday and Friday: 12 - 3 PM EST

Saturday and Sunday: 9- 11 AM EST
